HOW DOES PHYSIQ BODY SCULPTING WORK?
PHYSIQ has 4 applicators with Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) and Superluminescent Diode Matrix (SDM) technology with the optimal wavelength for absorption into body fat. This allows for multiple areas to be treated simultaneously for faster treatments. PHYSIQ can target stubborn areas without surgery and no downtime. PHYSIQ is the only device with STEP technology. Results are maximized by targeting fat and muscle simultaneously with varying energy modalities within the same treatment time.
HOW IS PHYSIQ BODY SCULPTING PERFORMED?
The provider will assess and prepare the area to be treated, apply the applicators to the skin with a gel pad and comfortable elastic band to hold them in place, then adjust the settings on the device to begin treatment. The patient is left to relax in the room during treatment. It takes approximately 15-30 minutes depending on the area(s) treated.
Patients should feel warm but comfortable during treatment, particularly at the applicator site. PHYSIQ’s energy delivery and unique patient control features ensure optimal comfort. The SDM technology is used to elevate the tissue temperature to achieve the desired result. The sapphire crystal plate in contact with the skin cools the surface, creates comfort, and protects the skin. The EMS will target muscle to flex and tone the desired areas.
WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED WITH PHYSIQ?
PHYSIQ can be used to treat areas of the body including:

DOWNTIME
This treatment has no downtime, patients can immediately go about their day’s activities following treatment. We only suggest staying hydrated and avoiding extreme temperatures (hot tubs, saunas, cryotherapy, etc.) for 2-3 days post each treatment.

Although results may be noticed after only the first treatment, the PHYSIQ protocol is administered in a series of 5 treatments. The PHYSIQ protocol is 5 sessions per area, 1 treatment every 2 weeks.

Yes, it is safe for all skin types.
PHYSIQ is ideal for patients with a normal and healthy body fat percentage that have localized, stubborn areas resistant to diet and exercise.
PHYSIQ should not be considered if you are pregnant or nursing. Recent sun exposure, especially with tanned skin or sunburn, should be avoided until skin tone returns to normal. Other contraindications for PHYSIQ treatment include pacemakers and other implanted technology, epilepsy, cancer, phlebitis. Other health concerns may be reviewed at the consultation.
