How it Works?
During the procedure a handheld device with a sapphire cooling tip is glided over the treatment area. The laser energy is delivered to the hair follicle, safely damaging any active follicles to prohibit future hair growth.
Our Motus device utilizes Moveo Technology which does not require any numbing, providing a painless treatment in much less time than traditional laser hair removal devices.
Although laser hair removal works best on course, dense and dark hair, we are now able to treat light and fine hair. Additionally, all skin types may now enjoy the benefits of laser hair removal utilizing Moveo Technology.
What to Expect?
Patients may be able to see results in as little as one treatment. Typically, 4-6 treatment sessions are required, spaced 4 weeks apart.
You will want to come to your laser hair removal consultation with your hair grown out in the area(s) of concern. At that time before photos will be taken to use as reference when comparing your after results.
On the day of your laser hair removal treatment make sure to arrive to your appointment with the area(s) being treated clean shaven.
Approximately 5-10 days after your treatment the hair in the treated area will appear to shed. This represents the treated hair follicle purging the hair from the shaft. Hair re-growth decreases over time and with repeated treatments. Permanent hair reduction is expected with future touch up treatments as needed for any new hair growth that may develop.
